Falkland Islands Fly.Fishing

Mauritia is married and has three children. She spends six months a year in Germany and six months on the Faroe Islands.
She is interested in Handel opera works, art history, in antiques, is an expert in antique textiles, and collects antique furniture.
Regarding the subject at hand: Fly fishing started out as a recreational activity and has become her major occupation today.

Mauritia owns two stylishly refurbished historic buildings on the Faroe Islands, to where she is traveling several times a year and where she is fly fishing every day.

Mauritia published several articles about fly fishing (South Africa, Norway, Falklands, Faroe Islands etc.). She is also the author of paperback travel guides about sport fishing on the Falklands and Faroe Islands (available on Amazon and Apple Books).
As a competent partner, she regularly accompanies press and media during important documentaries about her field of expertise.

For 10 years, Mauritia headed the successful company "Reine des Centfeuilles". A leading studio for the reconstruction of authentic-historical clothing on a royal level, based on the close cooperation with museums, (sometimes noble) antique textile collections and high-end designers worldwide.
The company included an international client base and a team of up to five couturiers.

Growing up in a parsonage with seven sisters and brothers, her childhood can only be described as a life in the midst of untouched nature, surrounded by the river and lake district of Middle Franconia.
The "hunting gene" most certainly stems from her great-grandfather, a professional hunter in the service of the Silesian nobility.
